  My main role was to help Staffordshire's communities deal with severe weather and ensure our services are prepared for increasing weather extremes, along with developing a climate change adaptation plan for the council's services. I also project managed a community resilience scheme, allowing local residents to become more prepared for a changing climate. I also worked in the field of energy efficiency with the aim of reducing energy bills and providing advice on this to residents and helping… My main role was to help Staffordshire's communities deal with severe weather and ensure our services are prepared for increasing weather extremes, along with developing a climate change adaptation plan for the council's services. I also worked in the field of energy efficiency with the aim of reducing energy bills and providing advice on this to residents and helping them where possible to alleviate fuel poverty. I produced the latest version of Green Shoots, the county council's corporate carbon reduction strategy.
