Tuve el gusto de conocer a Alan en el curso que realizáramos juntos sobre "Facilitación en escenarios de cambio climático" organizado por Maps y LEDS en Chile en el año 2013. Durante el mismo pude comprobar de primera mano no sólo su amplio su sopesado conocimiento sobre la materia de cambio climático y sustentabilidad sino también su gran capacidad para relacionarse y crear vínculos sociales y laborales. Ello derivo en que en los años siguientes coincidiéramos en distintos eventos y oportunidades y fuera creciendo una amistad que va mas allá de lo profesional.       The Mexican TCFD Consortium was launched on December 7, 2021 with the support of +40 national and international organizations. It is an effort of companies for companies coordinated by the academy and supported by the best global practices. Our objectives are: - Raise awareness and disseminate the importance of financial aspects related to climate change, as well as standardize knowledge about climate risk in accordance with the of the TCFD recommendations. - Promote positive dialogues among financial and non- financial institutions (information preparers) and information users (investors and financial institutions), as well as sector dialogues, through the development of workshops, conferences, publications and guidances. - Integrate best practices in goal setting, carbon footprint and portfolio alignment, scenario analysis, transition plans and disclosure. - Support the creation of governance structures in emerging markets to coordinate a better and organized integration of the Sustainable Finance agenda considering as role model Mexico, Ireland and Japan.
