Leading the sales function at OOHPod, my two key objectives was to secure strategic location partners that provided 100+ locations across ROI/NI and land private sales of OOHPod smart lockers for private use. On top of this I also led the project to develop and roll out bespoke Pharmacy click & collect smart lockers for prescriptions, called Pharmacy PickUp, securing the distribution rights from Remomedi, a Finnish manufacturer, for the Irish market. Multiple deals secured with names such as Lidl, Kennedy Wilson, Tesco, Urbeo, Marlet Property Group, Colliers and more. Show less

This was a new job title for essentially the same role as Channel Sales Manager. It came as part of many new structures and practices implemented immediately after Google acquired Pointy.

Regularly exceeded monthly and quarterly goals, and enjoyed attending monthly trade events and partner meetings, mainly in the USA. Show less

TravTab was created to allow consumers to pay for holidays and travel experiences by instalments, and was adopted by a number of major travel organisations to broaden the appeal of their offerings. The idea was born out of my own experience, when it was extremely difficult to make part payments to finance a personal holiday. As with most startups, the role of CEO included setting up and adjusting many of the business fundamentals for the organisation from scratch, and also the day to day running of the business from sales and strategy to successfully landing external investment. Some of the best lessons learned came from identifying target customers, setting pricing points, and the crucial ongoing dialogues between sales, product and marketing functions. From a self-funded start, TravTab had significant success signing key contracts with Ireland’s largest Travel Group “Club Travel”. I also secured a contract with Travel Centres, Ireland’s largest consortia of independently owned Travel Agents, with 70 locations nationwide. Ultimately, I signed 17 clients between Ireland, Northern Ireland & the UK and grew the company to €500k of transactional value. I learned a great deal from this experience about sales, finance, pitching to customers, marketing and product development, as well as developing relationships with external advisors and mentors.
