- Researched and co-authored NGA’s Community Engagement Report to define community engagement based on surveys of such cultural institutions as museums and symphonies. - Contributed to all aspects of public programming, including National Gallery Nights, Tour the Universe with the Air and Space Museum, and Art Around the Corner for elementary students. - Assisted in planning such future events as dance residencies at the museum. - Researched and presented a Gallery Talk on a Toulouse-Lautrec painting to the National Gallery staff. Education intern at the Art Museum of West Virginia University - Created and implemented tours of the McGee Gallery for a K-12 audience. - Contributed to an educational pamphlet distributed by West Virginia University’s Provosts Office. - Researched and composed two lesson plans for West Virginia educators of fifth and eighth grade which incorporated artworks from the museum’s permanent collection and addressed West Virginia’s state-wide teaching curriculum. - Created and implemented online programming for K-12 students. - Researched and composed educational guides for WVU Art Museum’s YouTube channel and website.
