Alaina brings an extraordinary skill-set to the work of assisting in administration of program at Westminster. Her organization, communication, efficiency and anticipation of needs is remarkable. All of that is complemented by her cheerful and responsive manner. Her follow through is excellent, and she anticipates needs and future possibilities. She very quickly has made herself indispensable to our staff and community.

I've known Alaina for several years as a fellow writer. We met when we were both published in the "Chocolate" book anthologies and Alaina has gone on to be a prolific writer, being published in several other book anthologies, such as the Chicken Soup and Cup of Comfort series. She has a long list of publication credits! Her writing is polished, entertaining and endearing. In addition, Alaina has a great talent as an editor. Her comments and edits were always useful and professional. Alaina has a keen eye, good editorial sense and perfect grammar. She is a joy to work with.

As the program staff assistant at Westminster, I provide a variety of administrative and communications support for the pastors and program staff. My tasks are diverse, including writing for our newsletter and e-news, committee work, donor communications, visitor reception, event-based projects, report generation, filming/editing/posting short videos, posting to our Facebook page, database work, brochure creation, and more. Co-pastor Gregg Neel was so impressed with my organizational ability that he requested I teach a class on organization for the church's adult education program, which I did in December 2016. In October 2021, I led a four-hour workshop on gratitude for the Westminster Women's Retreat, attended by 50 women. Show less
