I lead the senior management team at 180 Amsterdam. I set the vision for the agency and lead the team who work to bring this vision to life. This will include developing the strategy, culture and economics of the business. Having a dual role, President and CCO, means I also oversee the creative output, working closely with my CD teams. Ultimately, I am responsible for the creative output across all the agency’s accounts, including: PlayStation, Qatar Airways, UNICEF, HP, Asics, Benetton, DHL… Show more I lead the senior management team at 180 Amsterdam. The moment I joined 180 we lost our founding client, Adidas. They were also our biggest by some way. After a tough 18 months, we started winning business again. I have since led the agency to win business from all over the world, including: Sony PlayStation, Asics, DHL, Replay Jeans, Qatar Airways, Heineken and Diageo. But more than just winning clients, I steered the agency through the most turbulent of times to create an office with a vibrant creative culture.

The communications campaign was hugely successful, gathering corporate sponsors such as Barclays Bank, Goldman Sachs, McDonalds and Shell as well as globally recognised religious and political leaders and people from the world of showbusiness and sport. The project culminated at the G20 summit in London in 2009 where the world's leaders agreed to start a global working party to save and monetize the rain forests of the world. It was a balancing act of creativity and international diplomacy. Show less

When I joined the agency, there were thirty five people in a cramped office in St John street London. When I left, they were hundreds in an office in Shoreditch, London and a micro network with offices in NYC and BA. It was here, with the culture of Mother (no account management), I got a great understanding the world my clients inhabited and an even greater understanding of the value of creativity to their business.
