Made recommendations to increase efficiency: reorganization of storage layout, standardization of processes and instructions, kitting of equipment necessary for each job. Observed operations in the shop and tracked foot traffic paths and time, and job completion times. Created a verification model to simulate the job process in Arena to 4% accuracy. Implemented calculated time reductions due to storage, kitting and build process improvements into Arena. Achieved 20% reduction in build times compared to verification model.
