  As the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS), Mr. AL Imtiaz has demonstrated exceptional leadership and management skills. He has been instrumental in driving the growth and development of the department and has a strong passion for innovation and mentoring students in various disciplines.Mr. Imtiaz has a diverse range of experience at UITS, having started his career as a student employee in 2009 and working in various roles such as Teaching Assistant, Lab Assistant, Admission Officer, and IT Officer. After completing his B.Sc., he joined as an Information System Developer and later became a Lecturer in the department of CSE in September 2012.During his tenure as the Head of the CSE department, Mr. Imtiaz has played a vital role in shaping the direction of the department and has been actively involved in several initiatives, including the NASA Space Apps Challenge Bangladesh and the Bangladesh National ICT award. He is also recognized for his role in enriching the internal infrastructure of UITS as the IT Advisor since 2015.With his extensive experience in the field of computer science and engineering, Mr. Imtiaz is a valuable asset to any organization seeking a leader who is passionate about innovation and committed to the development of the next generation of professionals in the field.
