  Has 35 years of experience as a design-build mechanical contractor specializing in the critical facility, healthcare, industrial and fuel industries. His career began as an estimator for a small plumbing and heating contractor specializing in residential and small commercial projects. Al was eventually recruited by a large mechanical contractor where he rose through the ranks and subsequently left to run the sheet metal division of a newly acquired company as their Senior VP / General Manager. In this role, he worked with clients such as IBM, the DoD and the FAA where he built out SCIFs (secure compartmentalized information facilities) and designed complete emergency power systems. Currently, Al supports GRA clients with mechanical systems evaluations, project budgeting, project management, value engineering, assisting in equipment and material purchasing and quality control.
