The following are highlights of the value I bring to the organization: • Oversee the installation of a new Electrical Furnace with new substations with three new transformers switch gears, and a furnace for the new product line, Ductile Iron. • Develop PLC/HMI, and SCADA programs and facilitate diverse training for electricians to ensure all standard operating procedures (SOPs) are compliant and consistent across the plant. • Design Automation Controls for Plant Water Treatment and control pumps with distribution control systems such as VFD, PLC, HMI, PID, and pressure transducers which have eliminated operators from adjusting water vales and the need to turn on/off water pumps. Successfully have reduced 50% or more energy waste. • Led the implementation of automation controls with Proportional, Integral, and Derivative (PID) for the plant's furnace to pour Liquid Metals into molds for manufacturing media goods. Controls allow the pouring of liquid metal more accurately and efficiently, eliminating 20% scape with the new system. Effectively manage diverse project planning and management which have included: • Implementation of computer servers for SCADA allowing the Environmental Manager to access data collected from PLC to be compliant with environmental laws. • Replaced plant lighting upgrades; worked closely with Lockheed Martin and PG&E for energy efficiency and rebates. Utilized energy-efficient LED high bay lamps and controls which achieves savings of over 70% energy and maintenance cost per year. • Converted multiple PLC5 programs to CompactLogix, allowing the implementation of encoders and analog transducers efficiently, and faster machine cycle times.
