Started a venture based on the principal of Collaborative Consumption. Basically, it’s a web portal where people put up items of their own, and other people who need them can rent it out from them, for a decided rental fee and period.I have been involved in it, from the strategizing of the business plan, the wireframe of the business, the marketing strategy to the development of the beta website. The portal has around 200 registrations at the moment and around 80 successful transactions have happened till date. The facebook page has around 600 likes.The website is still in beta stage, but we have reached a stage where we have started applying for angel investors for further funding, to take this to the next level.
