I did my master's thesis for Neste Oil on the subject of Testing Diesel Fuel Lubricity in Common Rail Fuel Injection Equipment. It includes an overview of diesel fuel injection equipment, as well as the physical and chemical properties of diesel fuel. The experimental study was conducted both in the laboratory and with full scale common rail fuel injection equipment. For the bench tests, new test equipment and a new test method were implemented. I received the highest grade for my thesis. I gained valuable experience in testing fuel properties in a laboratory environment, as well as bench testing actual fuel injection equipment and reporting the results. An SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) article was published on the basis of the findings in the thesis by my colleagues.

I was working as a mechanical engineer in developing the new cabinet built ACS880 industrial frequency converter lineup. As a part of a product development team, I did 3D part design and assemblies with ProEngineer as well as detail drawings for ordering parts. Also, I was involved in developing a product configurator for creating dimensional drawings using AutoCAD 2010. My responsibilities included overseeing prototype manufacturing and making changes as required, while maintaining the engineering change process at the same time.
