      • Oct 2018 - Nov 2018

A performance coach at the Charlton Distribution centre. Solely responsible for Outbound team of over 50+ workers. Daily tasks consist of advanced data analysis using excel as well as Scoro & MatLab on my own device to quantify and identify areas of effect for performance of workers. This includes and is not limited to working out averages as a person, team for items packed, shipments per hour and analysing the differences from day-to-day as well as comparing percentage increase and decrease between set period of times and hours each day. Conducting performance reviews, agreeing on new targets and pushing everyone to their maximum performance and identifying the areas of improvement, issues with communication with front line managers and trainers. Working closely with all the front-line managers to get the latest information about guidelines for pickers, packers and taking into regards feedback from all workers to see how we can make it easier for them in return to see their numbers increase incredibly. Also keeping in-touch with the engineering teams and getting the latest updates about lines not working or issues with receiving totes to lines for workers. Data analysis takes into regards of downtime and issues out of control to either decrease daily target according to team averages or to increase if it’s a very busy period, especially for the top performers as they are eager to show what they are more capable of. The figures are then further analysed to a point where a certain drop, rise or pattern is apparent with the workers numbers, which is then furtherly followed up by regular performance reviews and targets set.
