Involvements: Team Resource Manager (Staffer 2020), Captain of Penn Recruiting (UGrad), RBC Global Training & Development Committee Member, Analyst Associate Advisory Board Member, RBC Mentorship programs, Group Summary: The Global Private Capital Group (“GPCG”) within Investment Banking is an execution-oriented coverage group focused predominantly in three areas. 1) Alternative / Non-traditional investor coverage (Hedge Funds, family offices, and diversified holding companies and their portfolio companies) 2) Private Capital Raises 3) SPACs (entire lifecycle, IPO through combination) GPCG focuses on providing its clients with the full spectrum of RBC’s investment banking capabilities. We have historically focused on / executed transactions in the following areas: - Non-traditional M&A opportunities - Capital solutions - such as leveraged loans, high yield debt, secured credit facilities / other balance sheet lending as well as the full suite of equity market transactions - Private capital raises (inc. spanning full spectrum of debt, equity and hybrid structures - Structured transactions for holding companies and private or public investment vehicles Note: The team was renamed in early 2020 from Alternative Investors Group to reflect the team’s broader mandate and continues to be led by the same senior leadership.
