In the Mental Health section, I profiled an organization called 'AtEase' that provides inclusive mental health services women and non-binary individuals, catering to their needs. Another story was on a West Benga-based organization 'Anjali' run by clinical psychologist named Ratnaboli Ray, with an aim to transform the state of mental health institutions and the conditions of those residing in it. This was a volatile time to be in a newsroom as the Citizenship Amendment Act was passed by the Indian government. I got to cover the protests in Bengaluru where they stood up with students at Jamia Millia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University, where students were attacked by the police. Another video that I helped shoot was the aftermath of a horrific rape case in Hyderabad where a woman named Priyanka Reddy who was gangraped and murdered.
