  I am an intern with the Heard Museum and am responsible for the care of multiple animals in the sanctuary. I work specifically with the reptiles, amphibians, and insects. I am tasked with cleaning each cage, feeding each animal appropriately, soaking the reptiles, washing out bowls, and cleaning up the space before closing up. Each shift I am getting hands on experience with feeding the animals and transporting the wildlife in and out of their cages.
