Nihar is an engineering and data science consulting firm. At Nihar I led projects and performed data science work.Project #1:• Created data registers to summarise equipment data from the client’s major database systems. Summarised data from multiple schemas and formats into a single source of truth. This project included over 2 million data points. I was part of a Rotational Engineer in Training program and was in 5 different departments during my time at the company. Year 4 (part 1): Downstream Asset Performance in Calgary, AB Canada • Helped optimize engineering economics for a crude oil pipeline by reviewing customer commercial agreements and developing strategy to meet evolving customer needs. Year 3: Project Development Engineering in Calgary, AB Canada • Led and motivated a team to develop a pre-FEED study for Enbridge's first ever self-developed renewables project. Year 2: Reliability Engineering in Edmonton, AB Canada • Identified value add opportunities over the lifecycle of process equipment at crude oil pipeline pump stations as part of a team. Used Excel, VBA coding, and PI to transform large quantities of data into potential opportunities for improvement. Year 1: Mainline Engineering in Duluth, MN USA • Managed a home demolition project as part of scope for a new crude oil pipeline project and wrote an internal demolition standard to help standardize procedures.
