HHE gives me the opportunity to wear many hats resulting in each day feeling unique of the previous days. From being the GIS manager, CAD manager, and BIM specialist I consistently stay up-to-date with the latest trends and new tools available in our field. As a civil engineer I have had the opportunity to lead several great sports projects from topographic survey through construction administration. Getting my drone pilot license has allowed me to really be able to connect the existing conditions to me designs and 3D models.

In this position I get the opportunity to help all Shive-Hattery offices better communicate, share knowledge, and deliver the best possible products to the owner. In order to do this I am frequently in contact with several of our engineers, construction services reps, and architects on a regular basis to understand where workflows could be smoother. I also get the opportunity to research, test and evaluate new technology on a regular basis. After evaluating new pieces of hardware or software, I then get to promote and implement the use of the new product in Shive-Hattery's current workflow.
