EAF PDMS Projects deployment

Total S.A. asked for a solution that would replace all of its legacy systems and improve data storage efficiency and its access. Primary justifications included implementing a consistent solution, increase its effectiveness via market proven tools, ability to adapt to continuously changing production methods and allow the adaption to a universal system. Total awarded to Schlumberger to implement and support PDMS for its affiliates. I have planned and successfully implemented the migration from in-house Databases (ELISE, MAP, LAB, DAP, CP1000, INDEX, PI …) to the Operational Database ADM for Total E&P France and Total Gabon. I have also delivered the specifications of the FPSO GIRASSOL DPMS extension to include Production Data of the new FPSO DALIA for Total &P Angola, this includes automatic links with IP21 and O&L databases. Total has reaped significant benefits from this enterprise scale deployment replacing older technologies, standardizing production computation, workflow methods, streamlining reporting, saving on deployment costs and reducing the total cost of ownership and maintenance for the systems globally. The “TOTAL Global Program” was honored with the Performed by Schlumberger Bronze Award which recognizes outstanding teamwork and innovation to create value to SLB customers. Show less

I have leaded and implemented DecisionPoint (E&P Enterprise Portal) for the Algerian national oil company Sonatrach. The project involved eight production locations, producing oil, gas, condensate, LPG and water. DecisionPoint has been extended for the first time to cover exploitation domain (non G&G) in Algeria. A joint team Sonatrach and Schlumberger has successfully completed and delivered the project.Objective : Implementation of DecisionPoint Portal as a global Production Reporting Tool for Sonatrach DP.Intervention : - Specifications for the locations (HR, GTL, RN, HBK, OHT, IA, ST, TFT).- DecisionPoint Deployment for (HR, GTL, RN, HBK, OHT, IA, ST, TFT).Environment : Plumtree, jsp, tomcat, apache, oracle, html, Unix, Windows2000, IIS.Achievement : Project closure; Presentations and Solution Go-liveI have also planned with the DataStream PM the upgrade of Rapier 5 to DataStream 7i; DataStream 7i is“asset performance management” software. I was involved in the early days of Finder in Algeria (1996) working with both well and production data. The project was to implement an E&P corporate data management system for Sonatarch. My first stage was the migration of MWDB and LogBase on VAX/VMS to Finder and LogDB on Sun/Solaris for Sonatrach production fields, the second stage was to put procedures for Data QC and to develop scripts to automate the workflow for well data capture management. A joint team Sonatrach Schlumberger has worked for 3 years to achieve successful deployment of the system for the eight production locations. The solution was extremely effective and is now the basis of all information management in Sonatrach.In addition to E&P consulting work, I have successfully deployed LIMS for 2 laboratories (Geochemical and Environmental Protection Laboratories) in CRD. The project consist in placing work requests and follow up on progress, review results and print out analysis certificates and other reports. Show less
