Ash has been our account manager for eight years, helping identify and supply the quality marketing data that is the lifeblood of our business. She is a pleasure to work with, combining efficiency an friendliness in a way that always makes you feel looked after. Ash is engaged with what's happening in our business, and responsive to queries or concerns. She is a proactive and skilled communicator who is certainly the best 'relationship builder' of the account managers I've worked with over the last 20 years.

Can't recommend Ash (and the Data HQ team) highly enough. There's never a problem that's too big to solve, she always has a range of potential solutions and uses her expertise to advise/guide and to ensure the right result. Besides that she pretty much became an extension of our team when we worked together and brought a positive energy and sense of humour to the projects we worked on. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Ash again.

I look after some amazing clients! From the moment I start working with a client I am focused on their success. Together we can work out what the end goal is, and what success will look like before we establish a plan to achieve those targets and aspirations. I like to really fully understand each and every one of my client’s needs and I won’t rest until I’ve delivered what I have set out to do. I thrive on fixing problems and sometimes it might mean encouraging my clients out of their comfort zones (if they trust me enough!) I am always thinking about how I can improve what I offer to my clients to make working together a rewarding partnership.

Data HQ is a marketing intelligence business. I initially worked as part of an inbound sales team and any business I won became my own client to manage and maintain and ensure they got the best from me and my organisation. As my experience grew I found myself involved in bigger and more diverse data projects, which over time built a knowledge that now equips me to go even further for my clients. One of my advertisers within the education titles I worked on at Aceville was an organisation with their UK office based in a village not far outside Colchester. It seemed a wise transition to join their company and learn a bit more about the education system in the UK as I was toying with the idea of teaching myself. I learnt a lot quickly at this company, I didn't have time to visualise or plan my future there though as sadly the US parent company wrapped up the UK activity. After using the fifteen minutes I had allocated myself for an early arrival trying to find the front door I then told my future boss in the interview I wasn’t really interested in magazines (at the time the publishing house pretty much 100% created magazines in niche markets). Brilliant. But I somehow landed the job! I found that this ‘proper job’ malarkey could be fun and make a positive impact to my life. The role was very simple: to chat to people, sell them ad space and do whatever… Show more After using the fifteen minutes I had allocated myself for an early arrival trying to find the front door I then told my future boss in the interview I wasn’t really interested in magazines (at the time the publishing house pretty much 100% created magazines in niche markets). The role was very simple: to chat to people, sell them ad space and do whatever I had to do to make it as easy as possible for them to choose my magazine to invest their spend. I can honestly say that this little company was a massive education to me and set the rhythm as to what I would aspire to in my future career.
