Provide project management support to all of the Women Employed programs; support management of new activist engagement and outreach events; and support board governance functions, including board recruitment and onboarding, with the President and CEO.Noteworthy accomplishments: • Developed board governance tools including a self-assessment, a skills and demographics matrix, and an engagement tracking tool. The data collected from these tools was used to conduct a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the overall performance of Women Employed’s Board of Directors and, in conjunction with extensive research of best practices, inform recommendations for a board engagement strategy. • Established and lead an internal working group comprised of senior management staff to develop and execute a board engagement strategy.• Conducted an annual analysis of Women Employed’s email advocacy metrics and developed recommendations for our organizational digital engagement strategy.• Designed and executed a seven-week email campaign that included seven action alerts to >5,000 supporters. • Organized and managed logistics for several community engagement events including volunteer recruitment and management for Women Employed’s major annual fundraising luncheon with >900 attendees.• Planned and oversaw the development of communication briefs that include a comprehensive overview of and grab-and-go messaging for each of Women Employed’s core policy issues. • Developed communication guidelines called the Safe and Brave Space Guidelines, created an organizational Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement, developed and issued an employee satisfaction survey, and integrated a racial equity lens to the organization goal setting and tracking documents as a part of Women Employed’s Racial Equity and Inclusion taskforce.
