      Whilst acting as Lettings Manager in Newport I was responsible for the day to day tasks within the branch as well as supporting and training the team. I took a step back from negotiating lets and stepped into the role of securing properties for my colleagues to let. This meant I attended properties to meet with potential landlords to discuss the ways in which lettings works and what we can do to help them as a company. I was also responsible for reporting figures to the Senior Lettings Manager and presenting figures at Area Meetings. I was also a support to the Senior Lettings Manager and assisted in helping run the business.

      In this role I was responsible for helping the Business Development Manager secure new leads and develop these into instructions. I also assisted with the overall customer experience not only with regards to new landlords but also with our existing clients by making regular contact with them. The let process was also a part of my role and my work continued on as a negotiator meaning I conducted viewings, matched tenants to properties and negotiated deals between them and the landlord in order to secure a let. Once secured, I would process all of the paperwork and arrange for the legal documentation to be drawn up to present to both parties.
