HuskyAdapt promotes the development of accessible design and play technology. It works on adapting toys that would be more accessible for children with diverse ability. I am a design project member and I am a part of the Virtually Integrated Project (VIP) class that allows me to learn about the engineering design process and work with people of different engineering background. Here are the projects I am working on: • GoBabyGo: adapting toy cars/vehicle, more specifically the WildThing toy car from FisherPrice, for children that are controlling their mobility using head movements. Our aim is to empower children with access to play and mobility. • Wireless Switch: building a wireless switch that can be connected to our already available toy adaptations and its switches.
