In charge of the Microwave Laboratory, design and building of test facilities and cross-calibration of measurements. Measurements from S-Band up to Ku-Band with set-ups that include waveguide, anechoic chamber, open-air and Radar Cross Section campaigns of large structures. Modelling of composite materials. Raise of research funding, technical development, monitoring and justification. The technology has already been deployed in different units in Spain, Far East and Middle East Countries.

  The research carried out during this period consisted of several projects in collaboration with academia, research institutes and industry, ranging from validation measurements of a borehole GPR for oil field applications (T&A Survey), assessment of GPR applicability in planetary studies (Universita Roma III), and a field project in a mine-field trial site in Cambodia (TNO).
