As the only developer in the team, I am solely responsible for the development and deployment of two new web applications. The first, built using React (with Typescript), .NET and SQL and deployed using Azure App Service and CI/CD pipelines within DevOps, is designed to simplify the process of feeding new client data into our standard data models. The second is a file upload application with a validation engine. This is used to validate large client files sent to us to feed a one-off snapshot report of the charity’s data. It also uses Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps for further data checks and feedback via email to both the client and internal stakeholders. I am also responsible for maintaining and further developing the company’s main product, InsightHub, an app with embedded Power BI reports which provides clients with insight on their supporter base. Development includes adding the ability to log user behaviour through Firebase. The app uses Google Functions (written in Golang), React, Firebase and is deployed using Cloud Build, Git Hub Actions and Firebase Hosting.Other achievements include using Azure Synapse to dynamically pull data from an API and feed into SQL tables, creating scripts in Golang to achieve a wide variety of user management tasks on InsightHub clients and using Azure Functions to create a webhook, written in Python.

      • Jul 2018 - May 2019

Managing a team of analysts and data executives to deliver supporter insight and campaign selections to all teams within the Income and Engagement directorate. As part of this role I developed a strategic framework for the way in which insight is produced to maximise its impact across the charity and redefined the way income is forecasted across different recruitment channels. Analysis projects I led include insight into the legacy pipeline, supporter personas, evaluation of door to door and venue recruitment, online shop analysis and team performance overviews. I also delved into service analysis, leading a project which aimed to determine the sizes of new Home from Homes.
