Whilst working in retail, I delivered five-star customer service experience to every person who entered the shop and made them feel pampered and catered to their every need from skincare to their nightly bath. I helped to train new starts in our products and how they are suitable to each individual and on the customer service experience within one of the busiest high street stores. Within this role, I was also entrusted with great responsibilities such as visual merchandising and establishing awareness of the shop floor to make sure every customer was greeted appropriately. As this is one of the busiest high street stores, I worked in a very fast paced environment and can remain calm while continuing to do my job efficiently and ensure every customer need is met.

Within this role, support was provided to children and young adults who experience Autism along with their families. I helped give social interaction to those who suffer from a lack of, helped with daily tasks and supported them in how to complete these tasks themselves to reduce the reliance on relatives. This is a very high pressure environment and so, I can easily adapt to however a young person is feeling and can remain calm when high pressure situations occur. Moreover, through being a charity, I also took part in many fundraising events so these young people and families can have the best care possible with multiple resources.

Team work was essential within this role with a strong incentive for communication. Ensuring every order was accurate from the beginning until the end was what I thrived upon along with meeting wait time and waste targets. By being a fast food restaurant, it was a high pressure environment where you had to choice but to work in a fast paced environment which I was able to do. Being in charge of your own station on every shift meant that I had to be quick but ensure everything was correct and so can show the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Working in an office environment, I would communicate with my team members on our daily targets and how we could achieve them. Also, I would advise customers on the best heating plan for their home and how their fuel burning could be more efficient along with helping price their monthly allowances.
