Political Organizer & Digital Marketing Intern
-
Jul 2021 - Nov 2021
As an intern, I am learning to create paid and organic social media campaigns to increase voter registration and turnout. I work in groups of four to develop political messaging, design ads/posts, target ads and evaluate the performance of ads. I am being taught key skills and am guided in my work by experienced political marketing professionals. I am gaining leadership skills by recruiting and managing volunteers to engage in voter outreach efforts, primarily voter registration. Some voter registration activities are done in person on college campuses and surrounding communities.
