Aileen is an outstanding talent who brings years of practical experience to her pivot to UX and Product Management. She made a lasting impression on our organization, and I'm excited for any organization she joins. I was Aileen's direct manager throughout the summer of 2023 while she participated in our internship program. Her employment coincided with the MVP launch of the company's flagship application. While she expressed a primary interest in working on UX research and design during her internship, I was impressed by her ability to quickly adapt to every project she was assigned. While this was responsive to the organization's needs, it also gave Aileen experience with the full spectrum of product development systems and processes. For example, she drew upon her teaching experience to draft a campaign manual and a product launch protocol for internal tools. She also owned the onboarding process for our flagship application and led the initial quantitative and qualitative analysis of our early-stage testers. She consistently took the initiative to propose and implement solutions to problems she observed. Aileen understood that she would be asked to wear many hats at a tech startup, and she exceeded our expectations at every turn. I highly recommend Aileen based on her demonstrated competency and tremendous potential.

This was done by running complex analytics queries, analyzing hundreds of user demo recordings, and aggregating click data. - Collaborated with design, product, and engineering teams to share research insights, contribute to design decisions, and update user personas to set the future product direction. - Took full ownership of the onboarding process for external beta testing, interviewing 25+ users in order to identify desired features and improve existing features. - Implemented a company-wide rollout process for internal tooling, accounting for variance in stakeholder needs, pulling on deep experience in pedagogy to ensure intuitive transitions.Pr Show less
