There are a million things I could say about Aileen and why she was such a pleasure to manage. All of the qualities you’d hope for in a social media / digital marketing manager are there – she knows the big paid social platforms like the back of her hand, comes to the table with ideas of how to optimize and improve a campaign’s performance and keeps on top of the latest platform updates – always being the first in our team to know. But Aileen’s biggest strength is simply her personality and attitude – which is simply one of the best I’ve seen in my career. Always looking to improve, she takes feedback in the right way and I was blown away by how much she progressed and developed in her time at WE. She brings her incredible charm and wit into everything she does and made an irreplaceable contribution to our office culture. From independently running our digital newsletter with the sort of craic and banter that only she could provide (whilst obviously sharing brilliant thought-leadership), to sending the agency weekly home workout exercises during lockdown, things like this matter just as much as the day-to-day work for our clients. We were gutted to see her leave but over the moon to see her land the dream role in the sports nutrition industry – I was personally so happy to see her fulfil her destiny! I can’t recommend her enough nor can I thank her enough for being such a wonderful colleague and friend.
