      Ryman Arts is a non-profit organization that focuses on providing high school students in the Los Angeles area access to a rigorous arts education. They provide weekly courses at the Otis College of Art and Design campus.The application process is competitive and requires the applicant to submit 2 graphite life drawings. Out of the thousands of applicants that applied, I was fortunate enough to be accepted into the program on a full scholarship.

      Leader of the Horticultural Department of ESHS Green Ambassadors. The main goal of the Horticultural Department is to be in charge and manage and maintain the school garden. Some projects I plan on getting done include: Developing and Finalizing an irrigation system for the garden, networking with Emerald Isle (local plant store) to work out plant donations, maintaining the social media’s (Instagram, TikTok) and using such to make connections with other climate crisis organizations and to increase our outreach.Research on Plants and Crops Native to the Los Angeles area, as well as how we can introduce them into our school garden - A large compost system throughout our school, where students will be able to throw away organic green/brown waste into bins, which will be discarded and mixed into the school compost bins! (this is currently in process and in use!) - Architectural improvements and basic garden layout. (Such as removing and adding certain things such as a large apparatus which the school is planning to remove, as well as the introduction of more benches, to create an environment where students would be able to have daily classes, reinforcing a more open and environmentally informative environment, as well as a basic improvement in their overall mental health!
