  Gold Coast Pet Resort is a pet boarding and daycare facility. Within this role, my key responsibilities involve monitoring and providing high quality care of boarding and day care pets including, but not limited to, cleaning and sanitising pens, catteries and yards, dog washing, general maintenance of the facility, handling and administering medications, record keeping and preparing feeds while meeting each pets' dietary requirements. While working with a diverse range of dog and cat breeds, we do experience some pets that show signs of aggressive behaviours that stem from high levels of stress and anxiety, and unfamiliarity with the kennels and staff. As a result from this experience, I am able to manage these pets confidently ensuring their safety, and any other pet and staff member's safety, is paramount. My role involves administration tasks and responsibilities such as communicating with clients effectively via email, phone and in-person. These responsibilities also extend to managing pet bookings via our Petlinx booking program, following up with clients for their booking, changes or payments required. My role at Gold Coast Pet Resort is a senior, full-time position where I assist in managing these tasks and responsibilities amongst the team and supporting staff where needed in fulfilling their own tasks.
