  On top of broadcasting for Iowa sporting events, I also write stories about the teams and what the results of the games were. This involves pumping out recap articles in a short amount of time to get them uploaded and viewable for anyone who missed the live game.

  At KRUI, I have broadcasted men's basketball, women's basketball, and men's wrestling for the University of Iowa as a sports analyst and color commentator. I have prepared a multitude of notes and stats prior to games to ensure the broadcasts are informative and energetic. I work with a play by play commentator as well, and develop chemistry live on air to create the best commentary we can for the University of Iowa.   I worked with a crew of 25 others to create the best high school newspaper we could. I wrote multiple stories a week, and oversaw work and articles from younger staff members. I worked with Adobe In Design for 2 years, and helped upcoming staff to learn the program as well. In Design helped us put out professional print newspapers to distribute to faculty and classmates every month. We won multiple awards as a staff, and personally I won multiple, as well as had runner ups, for my articles and pictures as a sports editor. Show less

  For Lyons Township Televtions (LTTV), I broadcasted for men's and women's basketball live on air with a friend of mine. We stablished professionality throughout our broadcasts, and drew up to 5,500 viewers in a single broadcast against Glenbard West, the number 1 team in the state and future state champions. We maintained high energy and knowledge in each game, and prepared historical background and stat sheets for players and coaches. We won 1st place in the state for our broadcast against Downers Grove South, our annual Blackout Game, and 3rd place in state for our broadcast against Hinsdale Central, our rival school. Show less
