Chosen to work within the Defence Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Wing as a Counter-Terrorism and CBRN Specialist, I was selected as a team member of a highly trained Target Reconnaissance and Exploitation Team. Operating on live radiological and chemical agent exercise missions in the UK and abroad I was constantly challenged physically as well as mentally. Within the team my responsibilities also included the operation of tactical and strategic weapons and communications equipment in high pressure situations. My ability to communicate pragmatically with confidence allowed me to debrief, advise and conduct demonstrations for high ranking UK and foreign government officials.
