It was my pleasure to work with Aidan during an implementation of Service Now. Because of the wide scope of the endeavor, there were many different groups to manage. 3 separate groups of developers, 5 separate business units, and a shifting start date. Aidan kept it all together and was the central facilitator in coordinating everyone actions. This was not an easy implementation but it came together in the end in no small part as a result of Aidans clearheaded and courteous focus. I look forward to working with him again.

As my customer at Transcom, Aidan acted as a true partner focused on advancing our common interest of success at every level. He was a tireless worker who did what it took to keep commitments and timelines, while attending to the details. Aidan would be an asset to any organization and I hope I have the pleasure of working with him again.

Transitioned to HP as part of HP's takeover of EDS. Worked as a Client Program Manager within HP Enterprise Services managing European and Global IT BPO projects and programs, also running Lean Six Sigma improvement projects. During 2010 I completed a Service Improvement Program for a major client improving service delivery efficiency and effectiveness, transforming the client's SLA dashboard from Red to Green over a six month period and certain additional service improvement efforts of mine helped HP to earn Gold Partner status with a major global client in the financial services sector. Also during 2010 I was Client Program Manager for a global infrastructure refresh and support restructuring initiative for an international client in the engineering and manufacturing sector, successfully refreshing hardware and software in 200 sites for 10000 users alongside implementing a restructured and improved Field Support model. Various other projects successfully completed for major clients. Show less

    • Senior Project Manager
      • May 2006 - Nov 2009

I managed major BPO projects for corporate clients while working for EDS, some involving new client take-on, some for contract extensions, all delivered on time and to budget. This included eighteen months as a Program Manager managing multiple concurrent projects (ITIL processes and tooling, and application integration) for an international retail (FMCG) company, and management of initial client take-on and infrastructure support for a global transportation company, a global financial services company and a global telco. In all cases the projects included relationship management of external third party suppliers to ensure or improve end-to-end IT service delivery. For example, during 2008 - 2009, I was European Transition Program Manager for a global client onboarding program and I personally managed relationships with Senior Managers and Directors on client side also third party voice and data service suppliers. System and process upgrades were successfully delivered aimed at improving service levels and reducing network outages - the work led to EDS/HP being awarded Gold Partner status by the client.I worked closely with Senior Managers and Directors both internally and externally to ensure that client requirements were understood and met. I was instrumental in delivering service improvements for all the clients with whom I worked and I was also involved in internal data (DW/BI) and process improvement (PM/ITIL) initiatives within EDS/HP. I completed Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training with EDS and during 2008 - 2009 I used LSS techniques to identify and deliver process improvements and other cost savings of more than €1m. Show less

I was re-recruited by an ex-colleague to manage IT Infrastructure Delivery, IT Applications Development and IT Service Desk Operations for the offshoring of business functions to India for Barclays Business Banking Contact Centre. I successfully managed projects involving approximately 60 staff (including external suppliers) to deliver over £5 million of IT hardware and software covering Oracle DB banking applications (including DW/BI), Siebel CRM functionality, global telecommunications solutions (voice and data) and a new Citrix server farm. Alongside this I managed the delivery of a major upgrade of the CRM system (Siebel 6 to Siebel 7) across all functions. All work was delivered on time and within budget and was managed using Prince2® PM methodology. For around six months I managed the combined onshore and offshore IT Support Desk function, comprising approximately 50 staff delivering Incident and Problem Management support for voice and data infrastructure and IT applications. I documented the IT Strategy and worked extensively with senior Contact Centre management to develop IT DR/DCP and Business Continuity plans together with running disaster recovery tests for the split onshore and offshore services.
