Aidan is a proactive engineer and project manager always looking to be ahead of the game by looking for answers to install problems. Aidan's willingness to keep the process rolling in the right direction has often resulted in positive results without the need for constant after the fact corrections. A sense of humuor and amiable, go-get attitude, makes it a pleasure to do business with him. On his own or as part of a team... he is a positive driver of the project and just a good lad to have around. Thanks Aidan, keep it up.

Aidan is diligent and reliable with great attention to detail. A self starter and good net worker. He is able to get things done in a timely manner in a high pressure environment in a calm and capable manner. Aidan is very efficient at bringing together all stake holders in a team environment to progress a project. He would be a great asset to any team.

In a Contract Position at the Intel Site, I Project Managed the Semiconductor Process tool install for the Thin Films Metals Functional Area during the 1272 process ramp. With a team of Project Engineers we managed the installation of the high purity and low purity gas and chemical pipework as well as electrical/signal cabling to match the reference drawings issued from the Development Site. Tasks included management of: - the generation and quality of 2D tool facility schematics, - the 3D BIM (Building Information Modelling) design model - facilities construction for, and installation of, toolsets for the ramp in the factory refit. Working with Jacobs Eng and DPS Eng for 2D A&E and the various trades (Mercury Mech & Elec, Radleys Eng Mech, Jones Engineering Mech, Kirby Elec, Winthrop Elec, Imtech Suir Elec, and Ardmac Architectural trades), for BIM virtual and physical construction work. One of the key goals of the project team was to work with the project stakeholders to apply Lean / 6 Sigma principles to the project team, to reduce durations and cost without compromising safety or quality. I was responsible for the installation of the toolsets in the ‘Thin Films’ Functional Area during the 1264 process ramp, to ensure that they are production ready safely to specification, schedule and cost (value $60m). I worked with Layout Designers to ensure that the stakeholders, (trade contractors, Process Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing) scope out and pre-plan the installation, to achieve the objective safely with minimal impact to ongoing manufacturing work.I managed different trades contractors on a daily basis to resolve issues as they arose.I worked with the Quantity Surveyor (QS) and Commercial groups to maintain contract integrity and ensure all work is done within scope, issuing Change Orders as necessary. This is to avoid claims/unaccounted expense at the end of the project. Show less
