Social Media Marketing Intern

Mar 2019 - May 2019
As a part of a five-member committee on the Saint Thomas campus, our group had the opportunity to compete against other colleges nationwide in raising awareness of the national debt and fiscal policy. I was in charge of creating social media engagements, on-campus advertisements, flyers, informational posters, mass communications, and marketing our events and overall message to the students on campus. Curating Instagram content, Snapchat stories, and finding other unique and dynamic ways to communicate an "uninteresting" topic to busy college students. Our group was also awarded a $1,000 grant to host community-engagement events that spread awareness about the national debt and deficit, with a focus on successfully leading communication about the events in a modern way.
