Bio
Lauren Renda, CAP®
I had the pleasure of working with Amy for several years when she was in the Philanthropy department at Carson Tahoe Health. As a Philanthropic Advisor working to carry out the wishes of a legacy donor, I valued Amy's ability to bring relevant, impactful, and creative projects forward for consideration for the annual grant cycle associated with the legacy fund I administered. She ensured that the terms of the approved grant were carried out in accordance with the grant agreement, and produced timely and informative grant reports. Amy is truly an asset to the philanthropic industry.

Dr. Amy Hyne-Sutherland is a top-notch collaborative and solution-oriented leader. It has been my honor to work with Amy since she was appointed by the Administrator of the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health to the Northern Region Behavioral Health Policy Board in September 2019. Amy’s natural leadership abilities shined when she led the policy board’s housing subcommittee formulate recommendations for behavioral health supportive housing. Most recently. Dr. Hyne-Sutherland, has led a collaborative quad-county regional community health needs assessment. Her efforts supported the project reaching beyond traditional indicators to explore emerging needs and gaps in the Western Nevada community, such as lack of social connectivity and critical issues in women’s health. Amy is a champion for health equity and innovation, including the utilization of community health workers to support people-centered services. I am very much looking forward to working with Amy in the future as she achieves new heights in healthcare leadership.
