  Contributed to the success of the following products: Signal Application Test System (SATS) 2012 - 2018 Technologies: C#, WPF, Azure Web App, Visual Studio, Subversion, Git, Python, JIRA, Cayzu Impact: SATS is now the industry standard in North America for simulating train control systems. This testing environment allows users to test more thoroughly in less time, increasing the rate of pre-deployment error discovery, and reducing field errors. My Role: * Based on assessed market needs, conceptualized, designed, and developed a simulation environment for train control systems * Incorporated customer feedback into ongoing improvements * Prioritized improvements by assessing potential impact and development time * Demoed product to prospective clients at trade shows and sales calls * Handled all levels of client support * Assisted in hiring and training of new team members * Mentored junior team members * Analyzed and reverse-engineered vital programmable logic controllers and created high-precision simulations in a desktop environment Version and Configuration Analysis application (VCA) 2012 Technologies: Java, HTML, SQL Server, PrimeFaces, Eclipse, JIRA, Subversion Impact: Developed a life cycle management tool for defining and mapping relationships between components of various versions of a complex Positive Train Control system. My Role: * Based on design specifications, implemented web app pages using Java and HTML * Created ETL procedures, tables, views, and stored procedures in a SQL database * Received workplace achievement trophy: “2012 Successful Development and Implementation, VCA 2.0” Signal Engineering Test Planner (SETP) 2012 Technologies: C#, WPF, Excel Interop, SVN, JIRA Impact: Allows clients to quickly generate test report templates tailored to specific rail locations.
