  I'm the Engineering and projects Manager of MSSI Company, my responsibility is to Lead 3 teams working on the projects assigned to the company as mentioned below: 1- Estimate & pricing team: This team is responsible for the following: - Studding the specifications of the project and the requirements of the customer. - Make preliminary design of the building/s - Preparing proposal drawings showing the customer / consultant the concept of our design. - Calculate the budget of the project to give price accordingly. 2- Design Team: This team is responsible for the following: - Make accurate design for the members of the building using 3D modelling programs (SAP, STAAD or ETABS), to assure the safety of the buildings. - Design all connections between the building members, to assure the safety of the buildings. - Prepare Design calculation and Approval drawings to be sent to the consultant to approve our design and confirm the safety of the building/s. 3- Detailing Team: This team is responsible for the following: - Build 3D model using TEKLA program. - Prepare fabrication drawings for each member in the building/s to be sent to the factory to be fabricated. - Prepare Erection drawings showing each member of the building, where and how will be erected at site. My responsibilities are: - To assure that the tree teams are working smoothly to finish the project following the schedule time and budget. - Communicate with the client / consultant to receive their comments or revisions required and pass them to the related team to update their work accordingly. - Communicate with the other departments in the company (Sales, Purchasing, Production....) to be sure that the materials we use in our design are available in the stock, or easy to be purchased, also to be sure that our design is easy to be fabricated. - Communicate with the top management to keep them aware about the progress in the project compared to the schedule.
