It was a great experience where I learned many invaluable skills, including technical and soft skills. The soft skills were working collaboratively in a team, communication skills, and time management. While the technical skills include: 1- load forecast and does that matches the demand. 2- Monitor the frequency and voltage in the control room and 3- scheduling time for maintenance f the grid components. 4- Site visits to sub-station and work collaborated for line disconnection for Maintenence.

I was engaged in improving the efficiency of second-generation solar cells through the following: 1- manufacturing of thin film solar cells. 2- fabrication of the cells. 3 characterization of the cells and analysis of the defects to improve effeicncyl The research focused on tin sulfide (SnS) solar cells. In the research, a heterojunction solar cell with SnS as an absorber and Fluorine Tin Oxide(FTO) as a conductive layer and glass as a transparent superstrate used. Various electron transport layer and hole transport layer were selected to examine which one would work best. For the metal contact, other metals were investigated, such as gold and silver. The application of this kind of solar cell could be used in a residential building glass where the cell absorbs UV-light and allow the rest to enter the building as it has a transparent layer.
