Job role:. Teach Physical Education within the Cambridge Curriculum Guidelines including Sport.coordinate and participate in sports activities throughout the school year.. Plan and prepare lessons in advance in collaboration with colleagues and ensure thatlearning is kept within curriculum targets.. Carry out assessment procedures and marking policies as outlined and organized .. Record and report on the development, progress and attainment of children including initiatingmeetings with parents to discuss attainment and progress.. Keep a disciplined class whilst promoting the general well being of children.. Organize PE / Sport workshops for staff and parents when appropriate.. Participate in the provision of co-curricular activities including liaising with other schools andclubs to arrange fixtures.. Maintain resources to the required safety standards and renew, as necessary within the budgetaryallowance.. Supervise & maintain sports facilities (like swimming pools, fields, tennis courts) and carry outthe necessary administration as required.. Write subject development plans, curriculum documents and policies in liaison with theresponsible Supervisor.. Promote developments within PE and identify and report any associated staff developmentrequirements to the responsible manager..
