I have presented the results of the FSA to WFP management, stakeholders and donors. • Establishment of market monitoring system by using standard market analysis tools/methods and relies on both primary and secondary data. • Participated actively in the FAO/WFP joint Crop and Food Security Assessment Mission (CFSAM) and coordinated WFP team involved in this assessment. • Developed questionnaires and guidelines for Rapid Emergency Needs Assessment (EFSA) and coordinate and write three EFSA in Dier e Zore, Hama and Al- Hassakeh governorates. • Actively participated and lead the analysis of Humanitarian Need overview (HNO) 2016 planning figures jointly with the Food security Cluster for Syria. • Joint training and analysis was conducted with Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Planning and International Cooperation Commission (PICC) staff on food security assessment in Syria. • Support Programme Sections with targeting/verification assessments and analysis. • Mobile VAM tool/technique that collect food security data through short phone surveys was initiated with HQ Support.
