Working and talking with Ahmad is always a pleasure, and I have been lucky to do do both for a long time. He was hired as a sort of system administrator for my department. I say "sort of" because he soon became responsible for all aspects of wrangling the department's fire hose of crazy ideas for web apps into some form of professional software development. Not surprisingly he rose quickly into positions of greater responsibility at the University but he never stopped being part of the department, first as a student and then as a teacher. Over the years have treasured our talks because of Ahmad's special ability to adopt perspectives from the cosmic to code and everything in between always with a sense of humor. He is the best.

Having worked under Ahmad's leadership for over five years, I can attest that he transcends the role of a mere manager, embodying true leadership qualities as he guides and supports his team from the background, always ready to provide assistance when needed. Ahmad's unwavering commitment to learning and self-improvement is commendable, and his honesty, authenticity, compassion, and kindness shine through in all his interactions. With a positive attitude and an innate understanding of human behavior, he listens attentively and displays genuine empathy. Ahmad's passion lies in empowering others, and he derives immense satisfaction from collaborating and achieving collective success. He not only recognizes the potential in others but firmly believes in empowering them to succeed, making him an invaluable asset to any team.
