      Expansion Related-Project 1) Pre-FEED study for a new aluminium plant expansion project that includes a casting line, cold rolling, foil rolling, and finishing line. 2) Review the new machine's technical specifications and requirements. 3) Design an integrated layout for the new plant that includes the main machines, utilities, facilities, and warehouse and submitted to Architect for planning permission submission to local authority.4) In the new plant, design the material handling flow, scrap handling flow, and maintenance accessibility route. 5) Estimated total costing for the new project by having actual figures for each machines from machine makers, estimated utilities equipment's cost via capacity, machines requirements and past experience and also considering current MYR currency rate and SST.6) Execute the installation and commissioning of two units 24T Annealing Furnace (on-going)7) Execute the installation and commissioning of 20MW Solar Photovoltaic System at Alcom's existing roofing area. Supporting Plant-Related Projects1) Created a design drawing to install a movable house-like structure with exhaust ducting and a motor inside a production line by measuring the actual side condition on both the operator and drive sides, including easy access for maintenance and operation. 2) Made material specifications such as structure type, thickness, and acrylic cover thickness decisions. 3) Liaise with contractors for tendering as well as review contractors' detail designs following specifications request. 4) Oversaw installation and led commissioning activities until the installation team was fully handed over to the operation team. An investment of RM20mil, Alcom's largest CAPEX in 20 years.1) EPCIC of new widest (1900mm) Aluminium Coating & Slitting Line. 2) Prepare plant layout for main machines and utilities location using AutoCAD3) Design pipeline route and support bracket mapping across new plant4) Issue technical requirement to machine maker and vendors5) Attend and present weekly progress meeting with BOD and external parties.6) Involved in machine installation by doing inspection especially on motor foundation slab, nut & bolting and sika grouting level.7) Lead the commissioning team of China Engineers and ALCOM operators to achieve result as per promised in contract clause. 8) Collect commissioning data and oversaw trend to make improvement for every material planned to run. 9) Handover to production team with successfully commissioned the first wide width Aluminium fin stock coating line in Malaysia.
