Project: HASSI MESSAOUD SOUTH SATELLITE REVAMPING PROJECT (HMD-S PROJECT), HASSI MESSAOUD, ALGERIA Responsibilities: • Directly reporting and back-to-back to Lead DCS Engineer, in charge for newly installed HONEYWELL systems (DCS / ESD / Fire & Gas) for all 9 satellites. • Assist and support Vendor Specialist on completion of work scopes for each of the satellite especially during site acceptance test and functional test of all related equipment. • Assist Client (SONATRACH) on newly installed systems during site acceptance test, loop test, functional test & commissioning. • Involve in constructions, inspections, loop checking, troubleshooting works, functional testing and commission of new Control System. - Tie-in power supplies from temporary Power Distribution Panel to new System Cabinets. - Energize/de-energize power supplies (220 VAC) for System Cabinets. - Liaise with Client and QA/QC department to perform quality check on the newly installed equipment such as system cabinets including approval for Site Acceptance Test (HONEYWELL systems), loop checking and functional testing of all related instrumentation. • Provide work coordination and planning with Instrument Site Supervisors and Loop Check Specialists based on priority and urgency of dedicated areas as per requested by Client. • Coordinate with other departments especially Electrical, Mechanical & Piping in order to have smooth execution of works. • Provide technical supports for instrumentation during commissioning phase to ensure smooth start-up of the plant without delay. • Assist and support Lead DCS Engineer and Instrument Field Engineer on preparing red-line mark-up of engineering documents (JGC / Vendors documents) for As-Built documents. Project involved: MLNG DUA Rejuvenation Project (Package 2) Work Package 13: Replacement of I/O Modules (FBM100 TO FBM200) Description: The purpose of upgrading FBM 100 Series I/O Modules of the Existing I/A system to FBM 200 Series I/O Modules is with the intention to eliminate the Foxboro FBM I/O Modules and their relative component obsolescence as well to eliminate the use of Foxboro proprietary protocols (FOXCOM) between the field devices and all the Foxboro FBM 100 Series I/O Modules.
