I have developed and implemented a comprehensive Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) framework. This involves designing and implementing a robust framework that includes clear indicators, data collection tools, and methodologies to measure program effectiveness, efficiency, and impact. The responsibilities include leading monitoring and evaluation activities, developing monitoring plans and data collection tools, and regularly collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data. Meanwhile, I have established effective accountability and feedback mechanisms, ensuring that beneficiaries and stakeholders have opportunities to provide feedback and participate in program design and evaluation. Promoting a culture of learning within the organization by sharing knowledge, documenting best practices, and disseminating findings and recommendations is crucial. Providing training and capacity-building support to staff and partners on MEAL concepts, tools, and methodologies is also necessary. Other tasks include monitoring field activities, maintaining donor communication and cooperation, assisting in proposal development, supporting the development of case studies and communications materials, and assisting in the development of operational monitoring tools. Timely monitoring reports and feedback should be provided to the management team, and collaboration with the MEAL Coordinator on project surveys and data analysis is required. Supporting short-term M&E evaluators, reporting progress on project activities, considering "not harm" principles, developing Standard Operating Procedures for Accountability to Affected Population, ensuring an efficient Complaint and Response Mechanism, and considering gender, protection, and catastrophe risk reduction are also part of the responsibilities. I have successfully developed and implemented Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) frameworks and systems for projects in the CANDA EAPO. I have designed and conducted baseline, midline, and endline assessments to measure the impact and effectiveness of EAPO projects. Coordinating data collection activities, including surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions, has allowed me to gather qualitative and quantitative data for monitoring and evaluation purposes. By analyzing and interpreting the collected data, I have identified trends, patterns, and lessons learned, providing valuable recommendations for program improvement. I have ensured compliance with MEAL standards and guidelines set by the EAPO and relevant donors. Supporting project teams in developing logical frameworks, indicators, and performance measurement plans has been a key responsibility. Additionally, I have facilitated learning and knowledge sharing among project staff and stakeholders through feedback sessions, workshops, and training. I have also contributed to the development of project proposals and budgets by providing inputs on MEAL activities and required resources. Monitoring project activities and outputs to ensure alignment with objectives and desired outcomes has been a priority. Implementing data management systems to ensure accurate and timely data collection, storage, and analysis has been crucial. I have successfully supervised and collected regular data through my team members during all activities conducted during monitoring and evaluation visits. I ensured the quality of the data by conducting random verification and validations. Additionally, I recorded, managed, and preserved monitoring and evaluation data in a safe and accessible manner. I analyzed and discussed the findings based on the regular monitoring data. I provided technical support on monitoring and evaluation and offered evidence-based recommendations to the relevant MEAL Officer, Project Manager, Program Manager, and Partners. I made sure that the implementation of field activities adhered to project monitoring and evaluation principles. I supported the team in conducting baseline surveys and Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) surveys when necessary.
