  1.Preparation Phase - Prepare, verify and consolidate Worklist, Scope of Work, Technical Specifications, Job Method Sheets (JMS), Equipment Isolation Sheets (EIS), Inspection Reference Plan (IRP), Material Control Sheets (MCS). -Review/contest worklist with related parties to ensure only essential jobs are planned for the turnaround. -Participate in the development Job Safety Analysis on major / critical equipment. -Assist Turnaround Scheduler on scope optimization and preparing turnaround schedule. -Ensure good planning updates to the Preparation Engineer and Turnaround Manager. -Attend the weekly preparation meeting, highlighting work progress and constraints -Attend the turnaround integrated discussion with contractors to emphasis work scope, quality, duration, and cost control. - Prepare and issue work packages to the Turnaround area teams and contractors. - Monitor the shutdown preparation work to ensure completion i.e. scaffolding, insulation, prefabrication and availability of Turnaround materials & spare. Execution Phase -During the turnaround ensure each area quality control charts are maintained and up-to-date. -Manage and lead his area team to meet the targets set. - Ensure the area workscope is fully meet to the agreed to the planned schedule. -To ensure before T/A that job-packs are fully complete and satisfactory and inspection and test are specified. -Hold daily meeting with team to determine the days targets and prepare the work co-ordination for the following day. Report outcome to the Turnaround Manager. -Attend and report to a daily management control meeting. -Ensure the work is completed to acceptable standards and participate fully in the punch listing activities. -During the turnaround run the defect system and liaise with the Plant Technical team on specification of the work. -Produce JMS, MCS, etc., plan it and assist with the distribution of defect system to the various Area Coordinators for additional and emergent works.
