Border crossings "from the Iwarfawahaus. The Egyptian artist Ahmad Nady exhibits his large-format drawings there.Nady made her way through Bayreuth and spoke with women, who behave quite differently than he had previously thought. "He met incredibly strong, self-confident women who stand and work in their lives," Often Nady took several hours for his interviews, and during the talks he drew the women on his pad.The result is large-format drawings that are strongly reminiscent of comics. Of course, there is not a cross-section of the female population, not even the halfway representative selection of a dozen women Nady originally intended to portray.
