I have had the pleasure of working with Khawari for 4 years. If I could describe him in 2 words, it would be " influential leader". Khawari is rare breed with leadership qualities that are lacking in today's world. He is a leader that ensures his staff are well taken care of, they have the adequate skills and knowledge and have access to the best possible resources and opportunities to excel. That alone, put simply, is a leader which is selfless, focused and emphatic. Even though he heads a department, he can also go down to the ground and perform the job himself - he walks the talk. His passion for journalism is evident in everything that he does - and that translates to him being voted numerous times as President of the Sportswriters Association of Malaysia. Khawari holds high standards in the job that he does. We started work at Astro Arena together and I saw the strong desire and fire in him to bring Nadi Arena to the top for sports news. I will highly recommend my good friend to any organization as I know he will be a tremendous asset to the team.
