      I started this magazine together with 4 other partners and my main roles and responsibilities were the following: • Constructed the business plan by dissecting the business model of a competitor and building improvements upon its faults, such as narrowing the target market, which resulted in a higher quality product and better satisfied readers. • Designed and implemented the commercial strategy to distribute the magazine in a digital format through social media and email, and in a… Show more I started this magazine together with 4 other partners and my main roles and responsibilities were the following: • Constructed the business plan by dissecting the business model of a competitor and building improvements upon its faults, such as narrowing the target market, which resulted in a higher quality product and better satisfied readers. • Designed and implemented the commercial strategy to distribute the magazine in a digital format through social media and email, and in a printed format through strategic points in shopping malls, markets and coffee shops. • Managed sales, distribution, and marketing of the magazine, accomplishing to partner with a large supermarket chain to distribute the magazine and generating twice as many followers as the competition on Facebook. It was a great experience, both personally and professionally. I had several lessons regarding team work, sales, and budget constraints. It was also fun to implement distribution and positioning strategies for the magazine. Becoming an entrepreneur taught me about leadership, responsibility, passion and commitment, values that I will take with me through my future journey in another project. Show less
